I ran into an issue installing a babygate at the top of my stairs - my newel post was round at the top, so I couldn't easily drive a couple screws in to attach the top of the gate. So, I designed this clamp instead. It uses 8 M3 heat set inserts. The inner sleeve is intended to be printed in TPU for flexibility and grip, while the outer pieces are intended to be printed in ABS (PLA or PETG would likely work as well, I just print primarily in ABS).
I printed this on a toolchanger (Voron 2.4 Stealthchanger) in one piece, but you can split the model and print it in separate pieces if you don't have that functionality. If you do print it on a toolchanger using TPU and ABS, I recommend a bed temp of 90C and printing on an ABS raft, otherwise the TPU will try to warp off the build plate. Even 90C is fairly hot for TPU, so run some tests on your printer with your filament to find a solid middle ground between the two materials that works for you.
