If you assemble Cables and Harnesses for a living, this is a handy and useful little tool. It replaces the normal jaws on a cheap steel 1" vice I bought on amazon and works excellently. The vice is similar to a palmer 1" machinists vice but at a fraction of the cost. The weight is perfect for cable assembly.
Pair it with a helping hands with a metal base to hold the wire and it makes assembly drastically easier.
I printed it in Overture High Speed TPU which is soft enough to avoid any marring but stiff enough to firmly hold the connector.
