Trimming jig for trimming Parker style refills (ISO G2) to fit the original Machine Era (Makerset) Field Pen Bolt. This provides an alternative to the Fisher Space Pen refill they were designed for.
Because the refills don't fit inside the bolt slide, they need to be trimmed slightly shorter than a space pen refill. I've tested this with the Ohto Flash Dry (pictured), which works well. The Kaco G2 refill also seems to be a good option. To trim the refill, remove the end cap and place the refill in the jig pressed up against the end. Then, use a razor blade to carefully trim through the slot in the jig. The original spring can be used.
