Mr. Tessier created the amazing open source Willys Jeep on Printables. I used the STL files to create DXF outlines of the windshield and headlight lenses. I located a PNG file of the original General Electric sealed beam lamp used in 1942 US Army jeeps and digitized the pattern of the lens, and then created a DXF file in order to engrave the acrylic lens. I made the engraving one color and the cut for the outer circle a different color. I suggest that the engraving be tested on your acrylic sheet at low power to see how it looks before making the final lens. The lens is 24.2 mm (almost an inch) in diameter, so it's pretty big and visible. A bright white LED would look really cool behind this lens. I 3D printed the housing in PETG Pinball Silver, and then used acrylic army green paint on the outside.
