The Rokenbok quarry is iconic (to me at least), but I have envisioned some improvements to allow it to be used in even more situations.
The stock lid/ramp only really works flat on the ground floor. I've devised a replacement ramp that works on deck plate floors on any build level.
The stock grate doesn't always corral roks well, and with this fitting within a bay, now needs better walls to contain said roks.
With those considerations in mind, I now introduce the Quarry Mod models. Featuring my optimized BV2 snap, all of these parts print very well with normal automatic supports. I printed all on one plate just fine. See my quarry model reproduction here:
Note for usage on upper build floor levels: The plastic hinges will allow sagging. Clip a flush part such as an upside down catwalk or beam on single snaps or risers under the outer guard hinge to support the sagging.
