This is a remix of the very well-designed gravity broom holder from LoboCNC. I found that model worked well for utilitarian garage applications, but wanted something a little rounder for the kitchen. So this just adds some rounded tapered sides. I mounted it using one #8 or so screw, and a couple command strips to prevent rotation.
Add a rubber band around the gear for grip.
