This cutie is a small version of my Flourish Lamp design and compatible with Bambulab's LED Lamp Kit. It's a great desk lamp powered by USB. If you like this, check out my other designs that transform popular pendant fixtures into beautiful table lamps.

How it works

  1. Purchase a LED puck lamp. I got mine from Amazon.

  2. Print the STL or 3MF files.

  3. Press fit the puck lamp, twist the shade onto the base, and plug it in. Enjoy!

Features

  • Twist-Lock Assembly: The shade easily snaps into the base with a twist.

  • Efficient Printing: Designed to be printed with "spiral vase" mode for fast print times. The base features slots for optional TPU feet to prevent sliding.

Parts & Files

  • Includes 3MF + STL files.

  • Easy to slice in PrusaSlicer, OrcaSlicer, or Bambu Studio.

  • Requires a minimum bed size of 180mm x180mm x180mm. This lamp can be printed on the Prusa Mini and Bambulabs A1 Mini.

  • Hardware Required:

    • 1x LED Puck light, compatible with the Bambulab LED Lamp Kit (amazon.com/dp/B0DHH4JZWW)

    • Recommended filament: PLA or PETG for the shade and base, TPU for the optional feet.

Print Statistics (Prusa Core One, 0.6mm nozzle)

  • Shade: 2hrs, 96g

  • Base: 0.5hrs, 28g

 Instructions

  1. Shade

    1. Print using spiral vase mode with 4 bottom layers. Confirm your slicer updated related settings to the following:

      1. Spiral Vase: enabled (the name may vary based on the software)

      2. Top Layers: 0

      3. Bottom Layers: 4 (3 layers if printing 0.32mm layer height)

      4. Infill: 0%

      5. Perimeters: 1

  2. Base

    1. Print without supports using your preferred settings. My preferred settings:

      1. Perimeters: 2

      2. Top Solid Layers: 5

      3. Infill Fill Density: 20%

      4. Infill Fill Pattern: Grid

    2. There are 2 variants, with and without a negative cavity for the feet

  3. TPU feet, Optional

    1. Print in TPU to protect your surfaces and add grip.

    2. To insert the feet into the base, align the foot, then press the base and foot against a tabletop.
