A case mod and a separate dock for the Ploopy Adept trackball to be used on a typical flight or driving sim rig. The models assume a 40xx series extruded aluminum profile as the basis for the rig structure. Provided holes accommodate up to M8 cap screws (smaller screws can be used with washers) to secure the trackball case or the dock to your rig with T-nuts.
The dock is dimensioned to be 0.2 mm wider in all directions to provide sufficient clearance to easily seat and unseat the Adept while still providing a secure mount.
Note, the only files included here are the modified case bottom half of the Adept and the dock. All other models of Adept hardware come from Ploopy's GitHub.
PLA is more than sufficient for either model. Pictured model was printed in Tough PC on a Qidi Q2.
