This is a remix of Michal Fanta’s excellent Low-Poly Mannequin Head made by mirroring the right side of his model and trimming the bottom a couple of millimeters.
Since I only needed the head, the model was split horizontally at the top of the shoulders. As shown the head printed in 10:49 even though it was estimated to take 11:35. I haven’t printed the shoulders or the full one-piece model.
The only tricky spot is the bottom of the chin where it’s “almost” horizontal, leading to some thin layers. This area isn’t all that visible so it’s OK as is. Using a variable layer height could clean this up a bit.
PrusaSlicer, PLA+, 0.4 nozzle, 0.2mm SPEED, 2 perimeters, 20% infill using Lightning fill, organic supports on build plate only, with Interface loops enabled. The model has already been scaled up from the original 2% in all three axes. PrusaSlicer estimated 243 g of filament total, final weight is 178 g.
