This is a remodel from the ground up of my last putter setup for the Quest to be a little more friendly to make without a lot of specialty parts/bearings. It has grip to putt function, a trigger function for teleporting, and a thumb lever to fly/drop practice balls (Walkabout Golf). Everything can be printed without supports with the exception of three parts: the base - it needs a support only on the outside latch mechanism, the joystick clamp, and the thumb lever between the two screw holes. Everything else should print cleanly without supports. Can be printed in any material, but PET and PBT have been the best working I've used for retaining their shape over time. This is modeled for a stepped shaft club, so you may need some tweaking if yours is not snug. You will also need to mark and drill a hole in the shaft to bolt main holder in place securely.
Pictures included for assembly. You will need one of each part but 2 of the bushings. There is a spacer included if you need more clearance to add weights on the end and not hit the trigger arm connector. Typically I used washers as they are cheap and I have a bunch laying around in the shop. All nuts/bolts are 1/4" are these are the sizes you will (likely) need:
1.5" Shoulder bolt
1.5" hex bolt
2" hex bolt
1/2" hex bolt x2
hex nuts x5
10mm M3 bolt (for thumb lever)
I used TPU filament for the 'string' but anything non stretchy will work. I got the parts snug and then melted the TPU in place after trimming.
If something doesn't make sense from the pictures or you have trouble assembling please send me a message. Feedback is always welcomed, although I am shelving this design for now and have started working on a much more compact and robust setup for a new version.
