This is a tool which I created for my wife who works in the field of occupational therapy.

My wife used to buy these tools from a therapy tool company but they kept breaking. She gave me the broken tools and I worked for several years improving the design. Each time it broke, I would make modifications. This design is the final model.
What I did was split the tool in half to increase the strength for when the tool is twisted. I then put tongue and groove on the pieces. To seal them together I used Kraftprotz 3D printing glue.
Print these tools with a minimum of 7/7 top/bottom layers. 7 wall loops (thick walls are important). Layer height .28. Gyroid infill. 50% infill minimum. To provide a smooth connection, print the objects on their side, with the tongue and groove facing up. You will need to use supports. Use the minimum settings to reduce the need to use sandpaper. After sanding, I put a light coat of black paint to cover imperfections, the clear coated it. Let it cure and it will harden. Enjoy. This should never break.
