A simple adapter that allows you to add a M12 metal detector to detect a failure in the primer feed ramp.
This needs no modification of the original primer ramp, it is simply an extension that has a M12x1 thread to mount a sensor.
I used this sensor from AliExpress:
Approach Sensor M12 LJ12A3-4-Z-AX
Approach Sensor LJ12A3-4-Z/BX LJ12A3-4-Z/BY inductive proximity sensor switch M12 4mm DC 12V 24V AC 110V 220V NO NC NPN PNP
It simply screws into the thread on the adapter, super easy.
I followed this wiring diagram. Note that the LED or Buzzer receives the same voltage as the supply voltage, plan accordingly. I used a 12V Battery and a 12V LED.
