The other IR shields i have seen here aren't effective for my setup, this modified one provides full IR light protection. Two versions are available, the smaller one is not tested but should still provide increased protection in a more compact size. Simply unscrew the backplate and replace it with this one and tracking should be fully restored.

the larger version does interfere with the camera line of sight lowering available fov, but still very usable
