This provides 7mm more room from the end of the earcup to the speaker in each headphone.
The spacer should be first applied to the earcup (see photo 2) and then pressed onto the speaker. The spacer is the same for both sides so simply print 2 of the spacer. The model is keyed to fit one way so if you are having trouble getting it to press onto the speaker rotate it 180 degrees.
This does decrease noise cancellation and sound quality, I would recommend wrapping the inside of the spacer with a foam sound absorbent material to help stop outside noise from leaking in. I would recommend printing in PETG, this test model was printed in PLA. This is version 1 I'll be working on Version 2 when I have time.
