The Snapmaker U1 has a bad habit of throwing its poop over the edge of the bucket. This deflector connects to the nozzle wipers and creates a barrier to help guide the waste filament into the bucket.
Features:
Can be printed without support/brim on Snapmaker U1. YMMV on other devices.
Will not contact nozzle when properly seated.
Does not touch the bed.
Attaches to static nozzle wiper bracket and can be left in place at all times.
Bucket can be removed/inserted without interacting with deflector.
Notes:
Recommended to use PETG or other higher temperature rated filament due to proximity of heated bed.
When installing, ensure it goes over all four nozzle wipers.
