This is a 3D printed mount system designed specifically for the EtherMesh 1W board from MeshSmith.

The mount plates securely hold the EtherMesh 1W inside common waterproof ABS project boxes while providing clean pass-throughs for Ethernet, antenna, and pressure equalization.

Print Recommendations

• Best material: ASA – Excellent UV resistance, high heat tolerance (won’t soften or deform easily in direct sunlight), weatherproof, and great long-term durability for outdoor use. Highly recommended if your enclosure will be exposed to sun/heat.

• Good alternative: PETG – Solid heat and moisture resistance, easier to print than ASA, and decent outdoor performance.

• Other option: ABS (still better than PLA for heat, but less UV stable than ASA).

• Infill: 25-40% (higher for more strength/heat resistance)

• Walls/Perimeters: 3-4+ for durability

• Supports: Minimal (print flat or in an orientation that needs little support)

• Enclosure recommended for ASA/ABS to reduce warping

ASA is the top choice for mounts that need to handle high temperatures and outdoor conditions without degrading over time.
