This is a case with a locking lid to house Pianta mini-figures for tabletop gaming.
The lid lock is assembled by gluing the follower channels into the bottom of the lid and then inserting the follower pins. The cam is then placed over the follower pins and the Pianta handle can be attached to the stem of the cam using an M3X6mm socket head cap screw. Additionally, the application of some food-grade grease to the follower channels will smooth out the motion greatly.
If you find the lid is not locking enough, cutting out the thin back wall of the case body's locking groove will allow the pins the completely trap the lid. In the future, I may update the part to make this the intended function, but for now, I will leave the choice up to the maker.
