Stackfinity - Tools
Gridfinity is a great storage solution spec from the mind of Zac Freedman of Voidstar Labs.
One shortcoming (amazingly) that I found in the wider community was the ability to stack Gridfinity whilst remaining easily accessible when storing a large number of bins.
Stackfinity is about storing Gridfinity Bins onto bases that can then be stacked on top of each other, with sufficient support so as to not randomly disassemble everywhere. Support strength comes from a combination of a more rigid set of stacking bases as using your chosen Gridfintiy bin that matches the height of these handles.
If you like what you see and do makes, I'd love to see how this project evolves over time, so please share your makes for others to see!
Stackfinity consists of the following Models Sets

Printing and Assembly
Choose your desired handle Size from the Stackfinity Handles above. This should match your selected Base chosen from Stackfinity - Bases - Single or the Stackfinity - Bases - Stacking page if you wish to print multiple bases in one go.
Print 2 matching handles
(Optional) Print the Stackfinity - Nut Tool if you want to make it easier to assemble your bases (Linked Tools Project above)
Screw the Handles to the base using M3x12mm (or longer) with as many pairs of screws you feel is needed for your current shelf.
(Optional) - Print a Wire Shelf Bottom Base for stacking shelves so they don't slide across the wire shelf.
Choose your choose Shelf Dimensions and load that into your sliver of choice.
Right Click the Shelf, and "Add" a "Negative Volume" and choose "Load"
Select the pre-saved "Mask" (e.g. "Stackfinity-Base-Wire-Shelf-Cutout-8x8x1-25mm Gap.3mf" to cut out the wire groves in your chosen Wirer Shelf Base Plate. Position where you would like the groves to be cutout.
If you have a specific brand of wire shelf, please let me know what the wire gaps is. You can do this by measuring across (say) 10 wires, then dividing that by 9 *10 wires, 9 gaps). If you could let me know the Country, Brand and Gap, I will add to the "Stackfinity - Base - Wire Shelf - Masks" group below.
Alternatively, you can place multiple copies of "Stackfinity-Base-Wire-Shelf-Cutout-1x8x1.3mf" as Negative volumes on your build plate for the same outcome.
You can also use the Masks to create a thin test strip to verify the dimensions of the gap before committing to a full print.
N.B. If anything is missing or you would like a specific size generated, then drop me a message and I will add that to the collection!
