### Genetic Algorithm Optimized Skyline Acoustic Diffuser (16x16 Grid)

This is a professional-grade Skyline Acoustic Diffuser designed using a custom **Genetic Algorithm (GA)** to mathematically optimize its sound-scattering capabilities.

Unlike random or basic geometric diffusers, this model was developed through computational evolutionary steps running over **10,000 generations** on a Tesla T4 GPU, achieving an optimized fitness score of **90.8%**.

#### 📁 Files Included:

* **Acoustic_Skyline_Diffuser_16x16_GA_Optimized.stl** (Inside the **Model Files** tab) - This is the main 3D model.

* **Acoustic_Report_Data.zip** (Inside the **Other Files** tab) - This contains the full HTML report, raw CSV data, and generated SVG frequency charts.

---

#### ⚠ Important Performance & Accuracy Disclaimer:

Please note that the performance metrics provided in the report are simulated using a **Kirchhoff physical-acoustics approximation**. While this is a highly valuable indicator of relative performance and shows the exact behavior of the design:

* It is a computational estimate and **not 100% laboratory-accurate**.

* It is not a full BEM/FEM pressure solve and cannot predict real absorption.

* It represents an optimistic calculation of the diffuser’s efficiency.

---

#### Specifications:

* **Grid Resolution:** 16 x 16 columns.

* **Physical Dimensions:** 72.0 cm x 72.0 cm x 20.0 cm (approx. 19.8 cm max depth).

* **Target Bandwidth:** Highly effective at scattering mid-to-high frequencies (approx. 800 Hz to 4000 Hz) where most speech, vocals, and instruments reside.

* **Design Base:** Mathematically generated to prevent phase cancellation and scatter reflections uniformly.

#### Printing & Fabrication Recommendations:

1. **Scale Warning:** The STL is exported at its real physical size (72x72x20 cm). **Do not scale down** in your slicer, as changing the physical dimensions will shift the target diffusion frequencies.

2. **Slicing for 3D Printing:** Since this exceeds standard 3D printer build volumes, please use the built-in **"Cut" tool** in your slicer (e.g., Bambu Studio, PrusaSlicer, or Cura) to split it into smaller tiles (e.g., a 3x3 or 4x4 matrix of tiles) to fit your build plate.

3. **Wood Fabrication (Recommended Alternative):** Because of its large size, you can also use this STL as a highly accurate reference for woodcutting. Cutting wooden blocks to match these specific heights and gluing them together is a highly cost-effective and premium acoustic solution.
