When our new fridge asked for replacement of air filter I was baffled why fridge needed one at all. Then I saw original Liebherr prices for it and was like no thanks.
Then I found this model: https://www.printables.com/model/923671-liebherr-freshair-filter-housing-9096989-9882460-9
But I found that one very difficult to print reliably. That is why designed my own version with different pattern for ventilation hole that is much more print friendly.
This design should be easily printable with many materials without much stringing or other artifacts.
This model corresponds to Liebherr FreshAir numbers: 9096989, 9882460, 988246000
I used ASA but PETG is also recommended.
As a filtration medium I used active carbon filter mesh CARBOTEX 220 (1 m2 I bought for the same price as 1 FreshAir filter). I use 2 layers as they fit snuggly inside. But even 1 layer would be enough.
Parametric Fusion model is also provided if you want to make any modifications.
