This is a remix of the HSW Hygrometer – Honeycomb Storage Wall, redesigned as a cap cover for the NorthSpore Monotub.

The latest version 0.14 removes unneeded pars and makes this easier to print. This part is not friction fit for a nice snug fit. In the future I'll add print profiles and models for other brands.
This is a remix of the HSW Hygrometer – Honeycomb Storage Wall, redesigned as a cap cover for the NorthSpore Monotub.
Instead of mounting a hygrometer to a honeycomb wall, this version adapts the geometry into a functional lid insert for monotub airflow management.

Fits securely into monotub ports
Maintains airflow while providing coverage
Designed with spacing between the hygrometer and air holes to allow room for filter material
Easy to print and swap
This spacing helps support proper filtration without restricting airflow.

Tested on the NorthSpore Boomr Bin monotub.
This is part of an ongoing set of functional upgrades for the NorthSpore system.
Still dialing in the design, but it’s working well so far.

⚠ Material Recommendation
This part is designed with a slightly oversized fit to create a proper seal in the monotub port.
Because of this, I do not recommend printing it entirely in PLA or other rigid materials, as it may not fit correctly.
For best results, I used a combination of TPU 95A and PLA+:
TPU provides the flexibility needed for a tight seal
PLA+ adds structure and stability
Printing in only rigid materials may result in a poor fit or difficulty inserting the plug.
