I decided to design my own printable top-hat for the CC1 with Canvas to enable me to use the original glass top. I have left spaces in the front, rear, and left sides for 2mm acrylic sheet pieces I found on Amazon (150x200mm). I used 10mm wide VHB tape to fix the clear panels in.
To connect all the parts I have used M3 heatset inserts in the side panels (6 per panel) and M3x10mm button-head screws. This makes it more serviceable if needed.
I printed all parts as the .STLs are oriented. I only used supports on the right panel under the part that goes next to the Canvas unit itself. This was to maintain the aesthetic of the other three sides. I used Sunlu High Speed Matte Grey PETG with 0.6mm nozzle, 3 walls (alternate extra wall on) and 20% gyroid infill. This took around 2kg of filament.
I have included .STEP files and my .3MF file to enable you to adapt and modify the top-hat if required.
EDIT: I have added modified side panels to accept 3mm clear pieces with 1mm of VHB tape.
EDIT (14th July 2026): I've added front, left and rear solid panels for those who don't want to use clear polycarbonate or acrylic and just want a solid riser.
