After upgrading my boxturtle extruders to the new APEX gearsets, i had to find something to do with the old extruders. It looked like they might just fit in the nightowl.
Well it turns out they do as long as you change the thumb screws to something a bit shorter!
The only parts of the nightowl that need to be changed were the bottom panel for the new mounting holes required and the entry points for the PTFE tubes in the front skirt.
I used a the filatector filament sensors from Armoured Turtle for the prep switches, as they fit between the front panel and the extruders! https://github.com/ArmoredTurtle/Filatector
