I made a very simple book end for my son's book case. I wanted it to be rocket themed, since space is his room's theme. I couldn't find a somewhat simple model I actually liked so I decided to design my own. I wanted it to look like a classic cartoon rocket.
Each book end is in two pieces so that I could add some weight to hold the books.
Print/Assembly Instructions:
Print 2 of the base pieces (They are the same for both ends)
Print 1 each of the tops.
You are welcome to use any layer height or infill but I did 0.2 layer height at 15% rectangle infill.
Load the base with any weights that you have (I used pennies)
Assemble the top onto the base by aligning the pegs and using super glue.
