Printing Recommendations

For the best results, print the model using PLA with a layer height of 0.1 mm or 0.2 mm. The only component that may need supports is the Scrap Arm but use your judgement with your knowledge of your own printer if you think that any of the other components may print better with them.

Assembly Instructions

The model is designed for easy assembly of the printed parts. The parts that slot into the base are designed with very tight tolerance with the holes so that it will stand without the need for glue. Follow the included instructions carefully to ensure every piece is correctly placed, some of the parts may need a little sanding or filling where appropriate.

The instructions include detailed steps for printing and assembling the model as well as other things like tips on customization, ideas for painting and troubleshooting.

The instructions note how many of each component is needed for the final model.

You may want to print more or less of the optional pieces depending on how you are using the model.
