What seems to be an younger forgotten brother of Mig-15, is actually a little older (but still forgotten) aircraft.
Lavočkin 15 - known as Fantail or Lástočka (Vlaštovka - Swallow) was cutting-edge new fighter which gave ideas to Mikojan-Gurevič engineers while still in making - lived just very short and unforgiving life.
La-15 was smaller than Mig-15, little slower, lighter and with lower stall speed. It could have been pretty nice Korean war warbird, exept for it's desperate need to turn into fireball mid-flight.
It's accidents, including first russian use of ejectable seat, brought Lástočka to death just months after first use. Than it served only as parts donor, and as targets. Out of 235, only 1 is still standing. What a shame.
I haven't found 3D model anywhere, so i remixed Mig-15 into La-15. I would like to tell where i got that mig model, but i don't remember it. Just google.
It's not made for 3D printing, you have to fill the body.
