So...the tool dock on the Prusa CORE One INDX has a lot of metric screws that goes directly into the plastic. That is from my point of view horrible, so I updated the very important part of the INDX to be much more usable (The fact that you have to screw them every time you calibrate the docks makes the original even more vulnerable). Plus I added bigger chamfers on the screw holes for better printing. I labeled the part K1 for good recognition
Installation is slightly harder than the original, as you have to push the nut from the other side to grab on the screw, but once you do, you are good to go and the calibration and the future use is much more pleasant.
Of course you have to install the 3x8 magnets into the tool dock (watch out for the orientation - magnets are press-fitted into the plastic. The rest of the installation is the same as for the original...apart from the M3nN nuts of course :-) This modification uses the same screws as the original.
What you need
2x 3x8 magnets for each tool dock
2x M3nN nuts for each tool dock
Printing
I recommend using at least 3 layers, due to very close proximity of the magnet hole
Infill 15% grid, or Gyroid
No supports needed
