This is a hemi-pelvis model designed to be utilised in phantom trainers for ultrasound guided PENG blocks.
When placed in a container, with the addition of a psoas-tendon like structure and submerged in gelatine, this allows trainees to practice the basic ultrasound image acquisition and needling techniques required to carry out this regional anaesthesia technique.
