Snapmaker U1 / BIQU PopCap Custom LED Light Mount

A custom-designed, drop-in LED lighting solution tailored specifically for the Snapmaker U1 equipped with a BIQU PopCap enclosure. This modular system significantly improves chamber visibility and timelapse quality by mounting directly to the PopCap.

This design utilizes the official Bambu Lab Lithophane LED Backlight Board Kit (housing four LED panels) Or the amazon knock offs it doesn't matter. 

Key Features:

• Support-Free Vertical Printing: The frame is split into a two-piece design that prints completely vertically, ensuring a clean finish and eliminating the need for supports.

• Easy Assembly: The two halves of the split frame use alignment pegs for perfect positioning and are designed to be permanently bonded with CA glue.

• Secure Panel Mounting: Features a dedicated internal track to securely hold the four Bambu Lab LED panels in place.

• Integrated Cable Management: Includes a clever vertical routing channel to keep the wiring clean and out of the way of your print head.

• Compliant Mechanism Diffuser: The snap-in diffuser panel utilizes a custom friction-fit compliant spring mechanism, ensuring it stays firmly in place and won't fall out due to gravity or machine vibrations. (don't use PLA). I used ASA but PETG should work. PLA will not work because the lights are a little warm. 

• Storage Over-Cap: Includes a tall storage over-cap for a finished, premium look.

Printing Recommendations:

• Material: PETG, ASA, or ABS recommended for heat resistance inside the enclosure.

• Orientation: Print the frame halves vertically as oriented in the files.

• Supports: None required.
