Custom 1u Cherry-Profile Keycaps for Aula F75 & Mechanical Keyboards
This is a clean, minimal, and highly optimized 1u standard Cherry-profile keycap designed specifically to match the stock row heights of the Aula F75 (and other standard mechanical switches like Cherry MX, Gateron, Outemu, etc.).
If you want to print custom replacements for your alpha keys (letters, numbers, arrows, etc.) that will match the height and slant of your stock Aula keyboard, this model is exactly what you need.
🖨 Recommended Print Settings / Настройки печати
Orientation (Ориентация): Place the keycap flat top facing down on the build plate (inverted). This completely eliminates the need for supports inside the tight switch stem cavity and guarantees a clean fit. Optional: If you want a perfect, smooth top texture, use a textured PEI sheet.
Layer Height (Высота слоя):
0.12mm(Highly recommended for sharp and precise stem tolerances) or0.16mmmax.Wall Loops / Perimeters (Стенки):
3or4. This gives the keycap structural strength so it won't crack when pushed onto the switch stem.Infill (Заполнение):
100%(Solid). Why? Keycaps are small, and 100% infill gives them a heavy, premium acoustic sound (thock) and prevents internal RGB lighting from leaking through the plastic.Top/Bottom Shell Thickness: At least
1.2mm(or 10 layers at 0.12mm layer height) to make the top surface completely solid and smooth.Print Speed (Скорость): Slow down on the first layers and the stem area (around
30-40 mm/s). Precision is key for the cross-stem to fit perfectly.Supports (Поддержки): None (Not needed if printed top-side down).
Material (Материал): PLA (easiest to print without warping, tight tolerances), PETG (more durable), or ABS/ASA (for the best deep sound profile, but watch out for shrinkage).
💡 Pro-Tip for Perfect Fit:
If the keycap fits too tight on your switch due to your printer's filament flow (over-extrusion), slightly adjust the "XY Size Compensation" (in PrusaSlicer/Bambu Studio) or "Horizontal Expansion" (in Cura) to -0.05mm or -0.1mm.
