This is an OpenSCAD generator for a press for making paper seedling pots that you put straight in the ground when it's time to plant your seedlings out. No mess, no fuss, no root shock.
Set your required pot height and pot diameter, with heights from 40 to 150mm and diameters from 30 to 80mm. You'll need strips of dry paper as wide as the sleeve that's produced is tall, and as long as at least twice the circumference of your pot. The circumference of your chosen pot diameter will be engraved on the side of the press that's produced. Thicker paper works fine with just two wraps, but newspaper would benefit from three.
Defaults are 45mm diameter and 70mm height which gives a decent individual seedling pot. The included STL and 3MF are the default size.
Simple instructions are included as a pdf, and in the 3MF file.
