This rugged ointment container was developed by our nonprofit to help clinics in underserved communities distribute ointments in containers that can withstand harsh environmental conditions. When printed correctly, it provides a highly durable storage solution for medical ointments, creams, or salves.
Important printing instructions:
• Material: Print in PETG, preferably Rapid PETG.. (Avoid PLA, as it degrades outdoors and handles chemicals poorly).
• Perimeters/Walls: Use at least 2 to 4 walls to ensure chemical/moisture resistance.
• Infill: 15% (Grid or Gyroid).
• Layer Height: 0.2mm
