TPC to ICTA Conduit Adapter / Connector
This is a functional 3D-printable adapter designed to cleanly connect TPC (corrugated underground cable conduit) to ICTA (flexible insulating electrical conduit). Ideal for tidying up utility lines, workshop wiring, or outdoor routing where different conduit types meet.
Print Recommendations
Material: PETG is highly recommended for this model. It provides the necessary impact resistance, structural flexibility for a snug snap-fit, and UV/weather resistance required for outdoor exposure.
Walls/Perimeters: 3 to 4 passes to ensure robust joints.
⚠ Critical Safety Warning & Fire Resistance
Standard 3D printing filaments—including standard PLA, PETG, and ABS—are not self-extinguishing and can act as fuel in an electrical fire.
If this connector is being used in high-risk electrical setups, enclosed structures, or areas bound by strict fire codes, do not print this in standard PETG.
To comply with fire safety standards: Print this model exclusively using a certified self-extinguishing filament, such as Prusament PETG V0. This specific formulation is UL94 V-0 certified, meaning it stops burning within 10 seconds when ignited and prevents plastic dripping. Under any other filament choice, use this adapter at your own risk and strictly for low-voltage or non-combustible routing.
