this is a remix of an existing mythosaur model from a different website. i modified it using blender. i made it so that a dark saber can be inserted from the top. this is a wall hanging mount specifically for a dark saber. the larger model head (vertical) can only be printed on a 300x300x300 volume (or larger) printer. there is an "original size" set of files as well that printed just fine on my smaller 150x150x150.
for the head (vertical) files, it works best if you print with "strong" trees and print the head as close to vertical as possible to eliminate or mitigate the need for supports in the sword space (it SUCKS trying to get all those supports out from the sword space through the skull). the other parts should be able to be printed as is, but feel free to move them around if you so choose.
i used orcaslicer for the slicing softwarea and printed the big version on a Creality K1 Max with Flashforge Black PLA (just regular old PLA...and it took a long time), the "original" size was on a Flashforge AD5M (same filament and settings), .12 layer height and 3 walls all around. otherwise it was standard settings. I used strong trees for supports.
