I created this to make Lego trains compatible with Kadee 743 couplers as I think these are much more convenient

This is NOT a complete buffer, you still need Kadee 743 couplers and some 2mm steel rod for this to work.
Buffer versions
The FULL version has shortened buffers to not interfer in turns. Print WITH supports with buffers facing down! Exclude the pin hole.
The MINI version has no buffers and can be printed as oriented in the STL WITHOUT supports.
Buffer print & build
I recommend printing these with 0.16mm layer height.
The box of the Kadee 743 coupler needs to be modified to fit. Cut off the protruding parts on the sides with a knife.
To mount the Kadee 743 coupler you need a rod with 2mm diameter and between 12mm and 15mm long.
Decoupler tracks
For decoupling, you need magnets to fit under your rails. I used these 60x10x3mm with double sided tape attached.

Use a 2x8 plate and 4 2x4 tiles to cover the magnets
