Description (English version)

This model represents the CSO (Optical Space Component) satellite of the MUSIS (Multinational Space-based Imaging System) program, which is part of a series of three military observation satellites dedicated to the French Ministry of Defense and its partners. They succeed the Helios 2 system, which has reached the end of its service life.

The DGA has entrusted CNES with project management of the satellites and the ground segment. CNES is also the co-system architect and is responsible for launch operations, in-flight acceptance testing, and satellite in-orbit maintenance.

This simplified model, created by our FabLab Managers, is a remix of the excellent model provided by seby107 (thanks to him) and complies with the original license.

Our version is not only significantly enlarged but also includes a modification compared to the original that allows it to be printed in a single print job (except for the propulsion system).

Two versions of the .3mf file are available: one for single-color printing and the other for multi-color printing.
