A Freerunner I modified to have a cooling fan because I was tired of my blasters overheating.

This is a remixed Freerunner V2 made by Chance, but with a cooling fan installed in the front to help with heat regulation during games. I used this thing for an entire day and it NEVER overheated (I had the fan on the entire time) and preformed extremely well! This was a project to take my mind off of a recent breakup and boy am I glad I took this project on because I love this thing! I used the OOD hardware kit with an 800MAH 80C 3S to power the flywheels along with the X-Shot Thrasher battery to power the fan. You'll need the extended battery holder by MKdesigns in order to fit the batteries in the grip without any issues.
Before anyone asks, IDK the exact fan I used because it came off of some old battlebot electronics from my school, but I'll provide a link to what may work. I also used 28AWG wire for the fan with 16AWG wire for the motors (links will be provided). It has a XT30 connector for motors and an X-Shot charger connector for the fans, which surprisingly works well.
Build wise is the exact same as the Freerunner V2, but with the edition of the fan which will make things cramped, but will work. Cooling fan wires will need to be ran on the negative side of the motors because I enlarged that wire section to accommodate for the extra wires being ran through the shell.
This really made me fall back in love with flywheelers and finally broke my curse of any and all Dart Zone flywheelers overheating on me and dying mid game. Overall, this was a REALLY fun build and I enjoyed every second of it! Enjoy the project and happy building!
