Printing & Assembly Recommendations:
Print Orientation: For the best results, print the model at a 45-degree tilt. This specific orientation significantly improves the structural integrity of the joint along the layer lines and drastically reduces the need for difficult-to-remove internal supports.
Material: I highly recommend using PETG, ASA, or ABS. Avoid standard PLA, as it can degrade over time when constantly exposed to moisture and outdoor temperature fluctuations.
Leak Prevention: For a perfectly watertight seal, be sure to slip a matching rubber O-ring / seal ring onto the male end before connecting it to your drain hose.
