As the original, early snapmaker U1 filament sensors in the toolhead are almost fully open, the filament can miss the extruder gears, jam up and not load properly. I made a small piece that closes the extra space, forcing the filament to go into the extruder gears.
Unscrew the sensor pcb off of the filament sensor, insert the printed piece with the long part resting on the spring arm. Reinstall the sensor pcb.
The part locks into place, but its advisable to use a small amount of glue to keep it from moving.
Be careful not to get glue on the metal sensor arm!
Needs to be printed on a 0.2mm nozzle, or preferably resin printed. I printed mine with 0.2mm nozzle out of petg, but abs/asa would be better.
