Hi,

The reason I started building this model was that my wife wanted a holder for her Aperol on her garden chair.

I expanded on that idea a little. :)

Inside, there are three different heights, each for:

Red wine glass.

Aperol or Lillet glass.

The size of a European beer bottle. This means any other glasses will also fit, such as for white wine, water, etc.

Additionally, the holder can be hung on various adapters.

I currently have three available

Hook: This one is relatively short compared to the others. Since it’s meant to be hung, I’ve added an anti-tip feature to the bottom of the drink holder. It can be used on any chair and also on the sides of a pool.

Another hook with two side pieces that wrap around an armrest. I also find it very practical by the pool; since I don’t want to place the holder on the pool liner, I attach it to the pool leg instead.

Horizontal clamp: Can be screwed onto tables and chairs. Works on surfaces up to about 3 cm thick.

Vertical clamp: Has roughly the same range of applications as the hook.

Special features:

The print file includes three versions of the container: one with and one without the anti-tip guard. There’s also another version (blue image). This model is taller so the anti-tip guard is positioned lower down. This works better with some chair models.

The corners of the clamps are beveled on the inside.

This helps distribute the load over a larger area, thereby relieving the pressure on the 90° corners.

Print settings:

Material: I tested PETG and PLA. I didn’t notice any issues with either. However, based purely on my gut feeling, I’d choose PETG.

I printed the holder and hook with 10% infill and 4 walls.

I printed the other two with 25% infill and 6 walls.

Kind regards
