I saw a doc about a DUKW boat sinking. They tend to quickly capsize.

Those things are over 70 years old, built for war and safety was not a concern.

I am not a Naval Architect, but I play one on my TV. I thought we should have a  newer, safer, more stable Duck Boat by now. So I tried to design a safer Duck Boat.
I gave Duckie McBoatface a shallow V-hull, and pontoons at the gunwale for anti-tippy flotation.
Maybe it has a Diesel generator with hybrid 6 wheel drive and Electric water Jet-ski propulsion / rudder pods with batteries for ballast under the deck.
I also figured it should have hydraulic suspension to raise the wheels when it is in the water and to raise the hull when on land.

an Engineering revision to figure things out.
I lowered the tires to On-Road ride height. Added portal hubs and swing arm suspension.
I added the central Orange Battery tray and Drive hubs.
Green is Fuel tanks. Ballast can be pumped fore, aft, port, starboard.
           Red is the Engine compartment.
Refined the lighting, added controls, removed some seats, added partial canopy.

Someone called it the Tesla Cyberboat. LOL!
