You've got another thing comin'! This release is a special double-feature addition to my Slave To The Metal 90s Drawing Series /Collection, where I am systematically turning my original hand-drawn concept art of classic band logos into clean, printable display pieces.

This plaque brings the sharp, lightning-fast, classic typography of Judas Priest straight to your 3D printer. To give you total control over how it looks on display, I have included two design variants:

1. Standard Base Version: Features a solid backing plate contoured perfectly to the outline of the iconic text for a clean, classic plaque aesthetic.

2. Hidden Base Version: Features a recessed, low-profile connecting bridge between the letters. This variant keeps the text structurally stable as a single piece while letting the individual letters pop out like standalone wall art.

NEW! Includes Mounting Alignment Tool: Because of the aggressive angle of the lettering, the two rear keyhole slots are offset at an angle rather than sitting on a straight horizontal line. To make installation effortless, I designed a printable Screw Alignment Tool/Template! Simply hold the template flat against your wall, use a small bubble level along the guide lines, and mark or drill through the slot centers for perfect screw alignment.

Important Mounting Note: Because of the tight spacing and thin profiles inherent to this specific legendary font, I had to reduce the size of the built-in keyholes on the back. Both variants feature (2) reduced keyhole slots specifically sized for a #2 screw head (0.153” / 3.88mm) or small finish nails to guarantee a completely flush wall mount without pushing through the front faces!

Multi-Color Filament Swapping Tip:

1. For the Standard Base: Slice it flat on its back and add a filament change right where the base plate transitions into the raised text borders to make the logo instantly pop against a dark background.

2. For the Hidden Base: Try printing the low-profile hidden bridge variant in a clear or wall-matched filament to achieve a completely floating text look!

Print Settings

• Material: PLA

• Layer Height: 0.12mm to 0.20mm (Lower layer heights yield incredibly smooth results across the blocky angles of the letters).

• Infill: 10% or higher (Gyroid or Grid patterns work beautifully for stability).

• Supports: None required when printed flat on the bed.
