1. Engineering Concept and Armor Configuration
   The Vietnam Wheel Protector is a heavy-duty defensive side skirt array engineered exclusively for the oversized combat vehicle platform s such as the battlebot Hodag.The shield geometry is custom-modeled with rounded edge fillets to eliminate any internal structural catch-points. It features an extended development length designed to fully box in the side flanks of the chassis frame, keeping the exposed drive axles and tire tracking tracks completely isolated from incoming hits.

2. Structural Defense and Drive System Integration
   The side armor guards are designed to be fabricated from lightweight, high-tensile sheet materials, optimizing the protection rating without introducing excess weight lag to the host machine. By surrounding the outer wheel profiles, the protector shields absorb the force of any direct kinetic impacts or high-RPM vertical spinner strikes from opponent machines. This ensures that the high-torque, premium high-quality gear motors remain completely invulnerable to structural deformation or drive shaft binding during intense arena matches over the wood panels.

3. Aesthetic and Functional Mounting
   The exterior face layout incorporates a flush geometric relief designed to display a custom flag engraving or decal plate, establishing a distinct team visual identity for the tournament tracks. The component profile runs flush alongside the low-clearance chassis boundaries, minimizing the side profile surface area while maximizing clearance parameters above the arena floor. The modular mounting tabs allow for rapid field servicing or swap-out replacement in under 60 seconds if the shield takes catastrophic impact damage.
