What it is
A drop-in replacement carry handle for the KB-215A "Active Speaker-System" (180 W RMS / 360 W max, 15" woofer + 1.75" horn, 740 × 555 × 400 mm, ~30 kg cabinet). It also fits any speaker from the same series or an identical cabinet that uses the same two-screw side-handle mount. The handle seats into the recessed pocket in the cabinet wall and is held by one countersunk screw at each end, exactly like the original part, and it reuses the OEM screws that came with your speaker.
The grip is 158.5 mm long with a flat mounting face and a rounded "D" grip profile that's comfortable to pull on. The cross-section is about 28,2 mm wide and 26.5 mm deep. The two screw holes are spaced 137.5 mm center-to-center, the screw bores are about 3.4–3.8 mm (M4-class screws), and each hole has a ~Ø9.8 mm counterbore so the screw head sits recessed. Before printing, measure the screw spacing on your own cabinet and confirm it matches 138.5 mm, since "identical series" cabinets can vary slightly. For a different mount you can scale the whole model uniformly, but re-check the spacing afterward.
Print settings
Material: PETG or ABS/ASA recommended (strong and heat-tolerant). PLA only for a light indoor test — under a sustained 30 kg load it can creep and fail.
Layer height: 0.20 mm.
Infill: 20–40% (gyroid or cubic).
Walls/perimeters: 4 or more — this is the main source of strength.
Top/bottom layers: 5 or more.
Orientation on plate: lay it down flat, with the 158 mm long axis horizontal on the bed and the flat mounting face against the plate. This gives the best bed adhesion and a stable print.
Supports: required. Print with supports enabled (the screw counterbores and the rounded grip overhangs need them in this flat orientation). Remove the supports carefully after printing.
Bed adhesion: 5–8 mm brim recommended.
Quantity: 1 per position (print 2 to replace both sides).
Assembly / how to use
Print the handle and remove the old or broken one, keeping the original screws.
Confirm your cabinet's screw spacing is same, center-to-center.
Seat the handle into the recessed pocket with the flat face against the cabinet.
Drive the two original screws through the end counterbores into the cabinet's existing bosses — snug only, don't overtighten or you may strip the plastic bosses.
Tug-test firmly before lifting the speaker, and re-check the screws periodically.
If the original screws are lost, use M4 self-tapping / wood screws of the same length as the originals. Assembly is purely mechanical, with no glue needed. This is a load-bearing part, so print it strong and load-test it against your own speaker before relying on it to lift a heavy cabinet.
