I wanted a Nuka Cola Quantum keychain like you see on keys in Fallout 4 and Fallout 76. I didn't find anything I quite liked so I made my own.

Bottle was designed in Fusion 360 based off of the Fallout 4 concept art. I couldn't figure out how to wrap the label around a double curved surface, so the label is slightly lower than in concept art, on a more rectangular surface.

Fun fact, this bottle is 3:8 scale and uses ISO 12821 bottle finish geometry. If you scale it back up to 1:1 it theoretically will fit an actual bottle cap.

I took some liberties with this model. The bottle doesn't have a punt (an indent on the bottom that distributes pressure to the walls). The bottle finish was one of them, because I wanted the bottle to look like it could actually be made from glass and mass produced. The file includes a cone at the top that makes it easier to fill up without accidentally getting dyed resin on the sides. It's got a notch that's meant to guide a saw to the right cutting point, and any excess can be sanded off.

Materials:

I used Polymaker Polylite clear PETG for this, and with the print settings in the ZIP profile and the post processing I did it produces a glassy clear bottle.

For the glow powder, I used 35nm Techno Glow blue glow powder.

For the resin, I used Puduo 1:1 Crystal Clear Resin and this resin dye.

This is the keychain I used.

Instructions:

The outside was deburred and lightly sanded, and then coated with a thin layer of epoxy resin with a tinge of blue. You do not need to coat the inside before pouring in your "soda". Let the resin dry with the cone down so any pooling ends up on the cone and not the bottle.

For the soda, I mixed 60mL of resin, ~4mL of glow powder, and around ten drops of blue dye. This was poured up to the level in the picture to leave an "air gap" that would later get filled with clear resin.

A final clear pour was done up to the top of the cap. The cone is then cut off, and the cap is sanded down.

I then drilled a small hole and screwed in the eye screw with a dab of clear JB Weld (I recommend this over super glue to prevent fogging).

I painted the cap silver, but you can paint yours red, purple or black as well. I've seen all sorts of colors in both official and unofficial artwork for the Nuka Cola bottle caps.

You then apply the decal, which I printed on white waterslide decal paper and clear coated, and then seal everything in with a clear coat.
