WARNING!
In order to install the sleeve you will need to unscrew the focuser of the Askar 91F and disassemble the telescope. If you are not comfortable with the disassembly of your telescope please avoid installing the sleeve yourself and ask your astronomy shop to do it for you. An incorrect reassembly of the focuser may lead to damaged threads or a non- aligned focuser.
The performance sleeve for the Askar 91F was designed to be printed with PC CF carbon fibre enriched filament in order to add more insulation to the extensible dew shield of this refractor telescope.
Carbon fibre adds an extra layer that allows for better retention of temperature around the area of the front lens of the telescope and allows you to avoid using dew heater bands on most nights, we have had success in the testing of this accessory and have it permanently installed on our Askar 91F.
Please note that you will also need to print the Askar 91F Performance Dewshield Sleeve Lens Cap in order to be able to protect your lens as the original Askar lens cap will no longer fit your telescope after the addition of the sleeve. We highly reccomend to print the sleeve with Prusament PC - CF filament for best thermal insulation results.
