This model was developed to replace the Askar 91F fine focus knob. We have printed this in PC CF filament and managed to also screw the original setscrew in place with enough force for it to work perfectly instead of the original fine focus knob which is brass filled and quite heavy. If you are looking to save weigh and lighten your mount load this is a nice little upgrade that will shave off unnecessary weight from your setup especially if you have chosen to use an EAF.
Do not apply excessive force when screwing the focus knob as it is unnecessary, the knob will work perfectly fine without excessive pressure, mind the gap between the fine focus knob and the main focuser knob, do not squeeze it tightly against the center of the main focus knob when installing.
We advise printing the model in PC CF filament for maximum weight savings at 15% infill but any filament will work.
