I have created a wide-base version of this display stand for those concerned with stability. The original will support a controller but I'd recomend using it more for controllers that will remain on display.

I needed a display stand for my N64 controller that required very little filament and very little print time so this is what I designed. It has a nice floating effect so that the focus is on the controller and not the display stand. It prints in 3 pieces so that you don't need supports. It's less than 13g and only takes 26 minutes to print.
The pieces snap together so it can be a very tight fit. Use a bit of force and they should come together without issue.
