Filament refills are a great way to save money and plastic waste - but there are different brands out there.
Here is an adapter that allows refills with cardboard cores inner diameter of 91mm and up (like f.ex. FormFutura) to be used on the new Azurefilm Masterspool blanks (the ones which go into Azurefilm's new refills with the holes in the cardboard core). The cutouts are not functional but facilitate orientation for faster installation.
Print in PLA or PETG (PETG might be better is you want to dry your filament on the spool), supports are highly recommended - blessed are the ones with multi material units or toolchangers since it is an advantage to use PETG/PLA combinations that makes support removal a breeze.
In case you do not like the flange there's a .step file provided to remove it - or to tinker with the model in any way you like, enjoy.
Update: added V2 for anyone without access to CAD programs - removed flanges, extended /recessed thread: wider clamping range, better fit of refill to spool to avoid possible filament entanglement.
