My tool storage design includes modification bodies for setting to 100% infill under the screws. This along with a minimum of 4 perimeters makes a fairly sturdy mount. You don't have to use all 6 screw holes. I included this many so it can be tailored to different requirements eg front or back heavy tools.
None locking for quick removal. The holes are Ø5mm (~3/16") with a 90° countersink.
I used PETG with success, I don't think PLA is wise in this application. I spent quite a bit of time fine tuning the ease and flexibility of use. Please let me know how you go.
